Swim Instructor - SwimQuest

About the Role:

At SwimQuest, we are dedicated to providing safe, effective, and enjoyable swim lessons for children of all ages. We are seeking enthusiastic Swim Instructors who are passionate about working with kids and helping them build confidence and skill in the water.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality swim instruction to children of varying ages and skill levels, following SwimQuest’s curriculum and progression-based programs.
  • Offer constructive feedback to both swimmers and parents to support skill development and progression.
  • Assess the skill levels and progression of each swimmer to ensure appropriate instruction.
  • Participate in continuous training and professional development through teaching evaluations, staff meetings, and in-service training sessions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of pool areas before, during, and after each shift.
  • Uphold SwimQuest’s standards for safety, professionalism, and positive engagement with students and families.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants from all backgrounds are welcome; the only prerequisites are a desire to learn, a positive attitude, and a passion for working with children.
  • SwimQuest provides extensive safety and instructor training, which is required prior to teaching.
  • Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to engage and motivate children in a learning environment.
  • Previous experience with children or in swim instruction is a plus but not require
